A UK-wide health and safety consultancy for the energy and construction sectors, set up as a firm from the outset.
Who we are
Sentry Safety Ltd is a UK-registered health and safety consultancy for the energy and construction sectors. We were set up as a limited company from the outset, with client work delivered directly at senior level, so clients get continuity and a firm that can be assessed for retained and framework-based work.
Our aim is long-term working relationships: competent person appointments, operations and maintenance safety retainers and framework call-offs, alongside project work for contractors of all sizes. We work UK-wide.
Sector background
We bring 15 years' experience to the work. Our background is in transmission and distribution and battery energy storage systems, alongside formal health and safety qualifications. That experience means our advice reflects how network and storage sites are actually built and operated, not just what the regulations say.
We also know warehousing and logistics from the inside, having spent years working in warehouse and distribution operations. Warehouses do not run on paperwork. They run on people, forklifts and racking under real pressure, and we know the difference between a policy that looks good on paper and one that holds up on the floor.
We work across construction more broadly too, and we are set up to support small and specialist contractors who do not have an in-house safety function.

On site
Audits, inspections, incident investigations and construction-phase safety management delivered in person.
At the desk
CDM documentation, trend and gap analysis, and retainer support delivered remotely.
Repeatable
Standard engagements follow documented processes so quality stays consistent as the team grows. Bespoke work is scoped individually.
Accreditations
Procurement teams rightly look for formal accreditation. Our current position is set out plainly below and will be updated as each is awarded.
What we hold
We hold NEBOSH General Certificate, NEBOSH Construction Certificate, NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management, NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate, NCRQ Level 6, IOSH membership and CDM 2015 competency.
Working towards
We are working towards Chartered membership of IOSH (CMIOSH).
No company-level accreditations are in place yet. We are working towards SafeContractor and CHAS to support procurement and tender requirements.
