Who we are
Sentry Safety Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in Scotland, company number SC713128. Registered office: Suite 2/3, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP. You can contact us about anything in this policy at enquiries@sentrysafety.co.uk.
What we collect and why
If you use the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, and anything you choose to add: company, phone number, the service you are interested in and your message. We use this to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to scope and quote for work. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
If you email us directly we hold your email and its contents for the same purposes.
Who processes it
Form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, which processes them on our behalf and passes them to our email inbox. Web3Forms’ handling of that data is described in its privacy policy. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else, and we do not use them for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for 6 months. If an enquiry leads to work, the details become part of our client records and are kept for the life of that relationship and for as long as legal and insurance obligations require afterwards.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies and does not use tracking that identifies you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
- ask us to delete it, where we have no continuing reason to keep it;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, our use of it;
- ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation.

We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will show when.
